Description
EVAPO-RUST is a very safe and effective product for removing even thick or stubborn rust from all types of mild steel or iron.  Since it only reacts with the rust, it won’t harm other materials like copper, brass, aluminum, plastic, rubber or vinyl.  EVAPO-RUST contains only non-toxic and bio-degradable materials.  It is also non-corrosive and contains no harsh acids or alkalis.  The product is non-flammable and contains no dangerous solvents or vapors.
 

Directions for Use
First clean the part to be treated in order to remove all oil and dirt.  Rinse with water and then immerse the part completely in EVAPO-RUST for about 20 minutes.  Check on the progress throughout.  Once it appears that the rust is removed, take the part out of the solution and rinse with clean water.  If you are satisfied with the results, then dip the product back into the EVAPO-RUST, remove and allow to dry.  This will help to prevent the rust from returning.  For stubborn rust buildup, it may be necessary to store the part in the EVAPO-RUST solution overnight.  Remove and rinse as before.  EVAPO-RUST can be stored in its container and used multiple times until it begins to lose effectiveness.  When you are ready to dispose of the old EVAPO-RUST solution, it is a good idea to filter out the iron content first.  In most cases the remaining solution can be simply poured down the drain.
